His Voice
College Ministry
The
Mission of His Voice Ministries is to develop young men and women to:
1. Hear His Voice; 2. Obey His Voice; And 3. Become His Voice. God is
continually speaking to His children, if we are willing to listen, our
life can become as effective as our Lord Jesus Christ. The way
that we accomplish our Mission here at His Voice is through 5 specific
areas:
1.
Creative Fellowship – At least 6 off campus events per year; with the
intention of developing lifelong friendships.
2. Extravagant Worship – In our Tuesday evenings as well as attending worship concerts.
3. Clear/Doctrinal Teachings – Of the Bible as it
effects our past, present and future – this through myself and others.
4. Discipleship Programs – At least 2 per year (5 weeks each) on 2 different levels.
5. Effective Outreach – With prior training (Bible,
purpose & method); Getting into the schools; volunteer work – not
just to grow His Voice, but to spread the Gospel.
Within
these areas, young people have the opportunity to connect with others
who have similar interests and worship the Lord together. One of
Pastor James' favorite things to do is go on retreats. There is
something significant about getting out of the normal surroundings and
schedules of life to focus on God for an entire weekend. If you
are between the ages of 18-29 and are not a part of His Voice, you are
missing out. So come and check us out, each Tuesday Night
